A Hard Decision and a New Beginning

Rejecting 20,000 products wasn’t just a financial setback. It also meant delays, stress, and uncertainty. I had planned to launch the new color in early 2025, but now I was left with no inventory and no manufacturer I could trust to do it right.

On top of that, the back-and-forth negotiations with the manufacturer were draining. I had trusted them for past productions, but now it was clear that without a legally binding contract, my words didn’t carry enough weight. I knew I needed to find a new supplier—one that would respect my attention to detail.

The search wasn’t easy. While there were plenty of manufacturers that could produce similar products, very few could match the exact shade of Glacier Gray while keeping the color consistent and seamless. I spoke with factory after factory, requested new samples, and reviewed dozens of potential suppliers. Some offered solutions, but the material quality wasn’t right. Others had the right material, but the finishing was uneven.

After what felt like endless negotiations and sample testing, I finally found the right manufacturer. This time, I wasn’t taking any chances. I set up two inspections again, ensuring that no product would ship unless it met my exact standards. The new production run was underway, and this time, I had full confidence that the final product would be flawless.

Now, as I get ready to launch Glacier Gray at the end of March, I feel a sense of relief. The process was exhausting, but I refused to compromise on quality.
